It's so easy to open social media and take a photo with a filter that takes out your wrinkles, hides your belly, or puts makeup on you...and at the same time so dangerous...
What do we have that we don't like our appearance? Why do we want to constantly improve? Is it for us or is it because they are slaves of a society that is increasingly computerized and at the same time deceives us by creating images that are not...
But what is behind all this? There is a great problem that hides behind low self-esteem, not accepting that over time we change, whether because we have been mothers, or we are getting older, or it could be because we have gained weight... this gesture is so "Innocent" to put a filter, to feel better at that moment and not see ourselves as we are, can become something very dangerous, for us but also for the younger generation.
A while ago, I decided not to put any more filters when I made videos on IG or photos, I decided that I should go out as I was at that moment, to remember that that person was me...and not another artificial intelligence. I think that computing can help us a lot in our daily lives, but there are things that are much better if they are REAL.
What do you think about it?
